Giving to the Foundation

Every gift to the Foundation is a gift in support of the Longview Library and the many services, materials, and programs it provides to the Greater Longview Community. Your gift helps insure that our children learn to love books and learning in a supportive atmosphere, that adults new to our culture and language learn to read and function in our democracy, that books, periodicals and electronic programs and materials are available to the broader community for lifelong learning and enjoyment, and that literature is kept alive and meaningful through interaction with writers from all walks of life. The Foundation has a Wish List of items that would benefit the community through the library.

There are a number of ways for you to contribute to the Longview Library Foundation.

  • You can make a check payable to the Longview Library Foundation. You may download a donor form printable with Adobe Acrobat Reader and print it and send it with your donation. To download the form click here.
  • You may wish to honor a family member or friend with a gift designated in their name to the Longview Library Foundation. Gifts may be memorials or for a special occasion, such as a birthday or anniversary.
  • You may wish to include the Foundation in your will or estate plan by designating the Foundation as a beneficiary of cash, an insurance policy, or personal or real property. You should consult with your attorney, financial planner, or estate planner as to the most effective way to carry out your wishes.

The Longview Library Foundation is a 501©3 organization as recognized by the IRS.
